VIRGINIA VOTER STORY: Voters Have Fun On-line Waiting To Vote

Jodi Mincemoyer in Richmond, Virginia describes the mood in her voting district:

This was my first time voting in my new community, Richmond's 3rd district. The polling place was a little disorganized and run in a hands off manner, but it was also highly CHARGED with energy. There were many elderly people with walkers and their mobile seats moving through the line. The crowd of people helped them. One set of twin sisters -88 years old- with matching walkers were just so very happy to be there. Other people brought their kids, and people in line helped to entertain them. I met some of my neighbors who i had only passed by and waved to. It was like a party without the refreshments. Great times!
